Dejansko je D.R.E.A.M.LAND projekt EYT, katerega cilj je spodbuditi mlade k aktivni udele\u017ebi v civilni dru\u017ebi in politi\u010dnem \u017eivljenju na lokalni, nacionalni in evropski ravni. Kot izhaja iz analize potreb, ki jo je izvedel konzorcij, Evropa potrebuje ve\u010d ozave\u0161\u010denega in aktivnega spodbujanja mladih, saj 60% evropske mladine ne razume lokalnih, dr\u017eavnih in evropskih odlo\u010ditev. Zato lahko D.R.E.A.M.LAND prispeva k spremembi tega odstotka s pove\u010danjem ozave\u0161\u010denosti o aktivnem dr\u017eavljanstvu, politi\u010dni pismenosti in demokrati\u010dni participaciji. Njihova udele\u017eba v politi\u010dnem \u017eivljenju in civilni dru\u017ebi je klju\u010dna za dosego cilja Evrope brez oglji\u010dnega odtisa do leta 2050. Trajnost tega cilja lahko zagotovimo z ozave\u0161\u010danjem mladih o politi\u010dni pismenosti, procesih odlo\u010danja in dosegi odlo\u010ditvenih mehanizmov. Solidarnost in vklju\u010devanje mladih bosta zagotovljena z mobilnostjo mladih, spletnim usposabljanjem in drugimi strategijskimi komunikacijskimi orodji. Prav tako bo bolj\u0161e razumevanje politi\u010dne pismenosti med mladimi pripomoglo k uresni\u010ditvi \"Povezovanja EU z mladimi\", prvega od ciljev Evropske unije za evropsko
