This topic really fits my interests, especially about social and political literacy. As a content creator for Circle of Sustainable Europe (CoSE) located in Belgium I write articles/blogs about EU topics remotely. The session at the European Parliament Info HUB in Brussels on 16-02-2024 by CoSE was a great opportunity for Belgian youth to learn more about the European Union and its Elections this year! I believe that CoSE really brings this political framework, EU policy & decision making aspect in this Erasmus project and I’m proud to work with them!

Hi Anna,
Thank you for sharing your insights and experiences with the Circle of Sustainable Europe (CoSE) at the European Parliament Info HUB session. It’s inspiring to see such enthusiasm and dedication to fostering political literacy among the youth.
Building on your points, it’s crucial to emphasize the importance of engaging young people not only in understanding the EU’s structure and policies but also in participating actively in its democratic processes. With the upcoming European Union elections, it’s a pivotal time for young voters to influence the future direction of the EU.
Additionally, I think it would be beneficial to incorporate more interactive and digital tools in these educational sessions to further engage the youth. Technologies like virtual reality (VR) simulations of the EU parliamentary proceedings or interactive online platforms that simulate voting processes and decision-making could significantly enhance understanding and participation.
Lastly, promoting these initiatives on social media platforms can increase visibility and encourage more young individuals to get involved. It’s essential for organizations like CoSE to continue these efforts, as they are vital in shaping a well-informed electorate ready to tackle future challenges.
I’m looking forward to seeing how these initiatives evolve and the impact they will have on young voters’ engagement in the EU.
