Active citizenship involves actively participating in society and contributing to positive change like voting, volunteering, community organizing, educating others ect. Also to become an active citizen, you can start by educating yourself about the issues that matter to you and finding ways to get involved. For example identify your interest, educate yourself, connect with others, take action, engage with decision-makers, stay informed. Young people have many opportunities to actively contribute to a better society and make a difference at the local, national, and European levels. Youth councils and organizations, youth-led initiatives, youth parliament, volunteering(again), social media activism, youth exchanges and programs(my favorite) lastly youth advocacy networks.
